Motivation

• I thrive in fast paced and intense environments where I am continually challenged - I love the satisfaction of a challenge mastered. I also look for the opportunity to be creative in my work, and to given responsibility once I have proven myself.

• I have a proven track record in running projects to budget, and am able to forecast expenditure and meet targets. I have knowledge of the basics of Prince 2 and can use MS Project. For the AmazeYourself Project I had to manage the delivery of £1m regional project in the North Yorkshire area, reporting to a European Social Fund Manager.
• Able to be the bridge between technical and non-technical staff as shown by the development of a enterprise events database with external developers and client group.
  

• Competent coder in HTML, CSS, Coldfusion, PHP and SQL. I am able to learn new software languages and packages quickly and easily, often teaching myself without recourse to courses or anything other than the manual.
• Led training courses for the Content Management System I developed for the University of York.
• Trained staff and students in the use of diverse software packages including Dreamweaver, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Microsoft Office and various website management systems.

• I am confident at negotiating and networking with external businesses and interests.
• I find it easy to maintain a level head during situations of pressure, conflict and stress.
• I can multi-task and flourish in a high pressured environment.
• I am creative and I inspire creativity in others to overcome or adapt to problems in the workplace.

• Led one-day workshops and multi-day training sessions for undergraduates, postgraduates & staff. These included team working, team development, communication and harnessing entrepreneurial skills.
