Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Enterprise (CETLE)
  • Member of CETLE planning and logistics team, managing budget of £5 million.Managed a £1m European Social Fund project providing practical entrepreneurial training to adults in York
  • Managed a £1m European Social Fund project providing practical entrepreneurial training to adults in York.
  • Founded the York Enterprise Club, now internationally recognised as one of the UK´s leading student entrepreneurship societies. Asked to represent the club and visit Enterprise Organisations in Chicago, Boston and New York.
  • Developed a website content management system from scratch to be used by four administrative departments. Coded in Coldfusion, CSS, XML, Java and HTML.
  • Managed the commissioning of an international database for enterprise events, taking project from inception to delivery for a diverse client group from several institutions.
  • Developed teaching materials and led training courses for students and staff on a wide range of topics including team development, enterprise and IT training.
Oct 2000 – Sep 2006 - Self Employed Web Designer
Won a variety of contracts to develop websites for private business and develop teaching and learning materials for Higher Education students. These included:
  • York Enterprise Zone, Enterprise & Innovation Office and IT Academy websites.
  • Developed enterprise and teamworking training sessions for graduates & staff.
  • Enterprise module for the University of York Department of Biology.
  • Case study material with high profile Alumni in print and web media.
