It's always difficult blowing your own trumpet but it has to be done and I'm proud of my achievements to date - they are worth trumpeting about. My professional life has been a mix of self employed followed by full time work with companies I worked for as a freelancer. I don't think that this is an accident, a lot of companies have tried to bring me on board having worked with me! It illustrates my flair for business and my entrepreneurial spirit nicely, and you can't pay your bills or go on holiday if you aren't making any money that's for sure.

I'm now thinking of changing the direction of my career though. I like the freedom working for myself gives me, but I'm looking for a full time contract as I want to take my career down a project management and technical management path. To that end I'm taking a Prince 2 practitioner course at the end of January 2009, and I am actively looking for work in this area.
